Evaluations

Along with individual and group therapy, I also conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations (also called Testing) to diagnose ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, developmental disorders, and intellectual disabilities.

As a parent, you want to see your children thrive and be happy. The possibility that your child may be experiencing a learning disability can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety, because it can affect school functioning and emotional well-being. If your child is experiencing difficulties acquiring academic skills, is having attention and concentration problems, or is feeling frustrated and anxious regarding school, I can help you by conducting an evaluation.

Once an evaluation is completed, families will be provided with a comprehensive report that summarizes the findings, provides conclusions and a diagnosis, assists with Individualized Education Program (IEP) considerations, and provides treatment recommendations. Together we will have feedback sessions to further discuss the findings.

I also provide three types of immigration evaluations for adults:

  • The Extreme Hardship Waiver evaluates the potential impact of the immigrant’s deportation from a lawfully-resident parent or spouse.
  • The Political Asylum Waiver collects information about post-traumatic stress or other mental illness caused by mistreatment in an immigrant’s home country.
  • The Domestic/Spousal Abuse Waiver seeks to establish the presence of physical, verbal, or psychological abuse in order to file for legal status separately from the U.S. citizen spouse.
