If you’ve experienced therapy before, you might know what I’m speaking of. If you’re new to or curious about therapy, I want to introduce you to it as a way to bring hope into your life. With all that’s going on in our world, both on a small and large scale, it’s important to keep ourselves uplifted, encouraged, and hopeful. We all have those days. Sometimes, those days turn into weeks. Other times, those weeks turn into months. Ultimately, those months could turn into years. Life can be hard sometimes, as I’m sure we all know in different capacities.
Take a moment to recognize difficulties you may currently be dealing with or have dealt with recently. Did you have the ability to find hope inside the storm? When it rains, sometimes it pours. I want to share why therapy can give you guidance along your journey and how you can find hope in therapy.
I founded Iris Therapy Services with a mission of helping people find their way. This is accomplished differently for each individual, but it is all centered around listening, caring, and creating a safe space. I’ve devoted my practice to become a safe space for individuals in all walks of life. It is my experience that providing a compassionate listening ear along with guidance to help you through the patch of life you’re in can work wonders in bringing hope to my patients.
There is never a right or wrong time to begin therapy. Whether it’s one bad day or a cumulation of events leading you here, it’s never too early or too late to start. Life can throw us curve balls no matter how smoothly it seems to be going. Therapy doesn’t always solve the problems life throws you, but it equips you to better handle them. It equips you to repair hurts, to treat yourself kindly, and to seek hope in the times where it is hard to find. It can be the light at the end of a tunnel or the streetlight that guides you every step of the way.
When you find hope in therapy, you find a safe place to express your thoughts and feelings. You find guidance and you find the ability to fight for your joy in your circumstances.
Regardless of if what you’re dealing with is something I’ve gone through personally or not, I have the ability to empathize and help you work through these feelings. I join your team and help you fight through to gain hope through our sessions. Therapy is for people of all ages and at all stages of life. Whether your child is struggling through stress with school, you’re struggling with stress at work, or your family is undergoing a large change, therapy can assist in the healing and transition process. I invite you to come in and find hope.
